Tonight our scouts (Jared Bolten & Elijah Glover) received their Arrow of Light and advanced to Boy Scouts. They received a extra special badge for it being the 100th anniversary of scouting. The night was equipped with a shark song, three legged race, and cake. They had a special ceremony where the boys walked across a bridge with us at the beginning and the boy scout at the other end. It symbolized the transition they are making. It was a awesome ceremony. We are so proud of our boys and excited to see their journey.
We had a date night with the Smith's in August. Once a month the Albuquerque Trolley has a special tour for New Mexico residents the tour includes DownTown, Tingly Beach, etc. The ask trivia questions to win prizes and you get to learn a lot of fun things about Albuquerque. Jacob and I won a mug and homemade cookies, the Smiths won a beautiful necklace. Afterwards we walked around Old Town and ate a delicious dinner at the Old Town Pizza Parlor. It was a blast! We are so thankful to have them as friends, :)
