Tyler and I love the Summer! One of our favorite activities is playing in the water on the hot sunny days. Today we went to the splash part with some friends and had a blast! Here is some of the cute pics I got.

Tyler's still isn't sure what to make of airplanes. He hasn't taken to them like he has cars. Being made to sit still and not run around for hours can take its toll on a kid, and also those around him. The first half of our trip to LA was uneventful, but after our hour wait in Phoenix Tyler wasn't happy to be seated again.
None of that compared to the return trip home, however. Our flight was delayed, so we left at Tyler's usual nap time rather than returning around that time. Thank goodness it was a direct flight back -- Tyler cried almost the whole way. Hopefully this next flight will be better. He is happy in the pictures. They were taken before everyone boarded the second time. The stewardess let him play in the aisles for a good 20 minutes fingers cross our next flight will be better.

A few weeks ago Grandma Hobbs found a beautiful bunny in our neighbors garage. We were lucky enough to have it for a few days and Tyler made a new friend. We are happy that Bunny has a new home at Grandma Hobbs that we can visit. Tyler still searches the house and garage for the Bunny. Too cute!
We have recently does over that Tyler loves animals! His Great Grandma Charlette has a dog she adopted from the pound named Charlie. Tyler enjoyed playing with him so much and Charlie enjoyed how gentle and living he was with him. There may be a dog in our future.

Last weekend we had our monthly dinner at my home. The girls and I made a yummy lasagna (about 11 pounds not counting the dish it was in) with garlic bread and a big salad. We had fun making everything and then eating it. The night continued with us visiting and talking about anything and everything. I admire all these beautiful strong women who are amazing friends!
