Jacob's birthday is the day after Tyler's. Jacob wanted their birthdays to be on the same day, but we missed it by a couple of hours. For Jacob's birthday we went to Chili's with his parents and had a wonderful time! Jacob got shoes which he needed badly and a couple of other really cool things. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to him and we all enjoyed a yummy lava cake for dessert!

Our baby boy is two! Boy how time flies!! We had two birthday parties for him. One was with my Dad's side of family and the other was with my Mom's side with Jacob's family. It was so fun to spend time with family and see Tyler blow out his candles. Love my little boy!!

We visited the State Fair on a Tuesday morning when it wasn't too busy. Our first destination was the McDonalds barn, where Tyler saw pigs, goats, llamas, and chicks. After that, we cooled off in the building that housed guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. Some of the rabbits were humongous!
We then checked out the shops on the east end of the fair, where we got some scented wax. Tyler was drawn to the pony ride, where he pointed and said, "Horsh! Horsh!" He was so happy to be able to ride, and held on really well to the saddle. This was his highlight.
Afterwards, we did the McDonalds farm thing so Tyler could get a popsicle, then cooled ourselves off by viewing the exhibits in the Lujan building. By the time we were done, Tyler was asleep and we were hungry.
A double cheeseburger from Rex's and chili cheese twisted fries hit the spot. Tyler was still sleeping so we bypassed the petting zoo and left the fair for 7-11 icees and Burger King chicken nuggets!
